A few things:

1. Make a bigger background so you dont have to put it on repeat. It doesnt look good the way it cuts off.
2. I would use a different theme because it doesn't really fit your banner or background. It isn't bad but the white and red body of the site really looks totally different from the rest of your site and style.

Also delete the 'Hello World' post at the bottom....

But just keep working on it and you'll do fine!
