Couldn't we extend it a little longer, its not SOTW its SOTM lol. Why finish everything in 5 days?

You could make it 1-2 or even 3 weeks, and then a few days or a week for voting

How it should be (My opinion):

Submission Starts - 12/1 (So it has already started)
Submission Ends - 12/24 (Christmas Eve)
Voting Starts - 12/25
Voting Ends - 12/31 (New Years Eve/Last day of December)
Winner announced - 1/1/10 (New Years Day)
