The album had promotion, most of it was done virally. Going gold is still good for the album but 2 months to get 500k compared to Ye doing that in a week, that's not good even if IANAHB was just a quick album with a bunch of songs thrown on it with no purpose.

For those of you who keep thinking C4 will go platinum can I remind you Wayne has 8 albums which have been released, only 4 have gone platinum. Jay-Z has 11 out and all of them have gone platinum. Wayne is not a platinum selling artist. He's not up there sales wise with Kanye and Jay-Z, so with that said a 500k album from Wayne at all is good in my opinion but if Wayne wants to be considered amongst the best he needs to hit platinum every album, even on a quick album just to hold fans over, the music should always be at platinum selling levels.

I know im not talking about the quality of the music im talking about sales if he was out and promoted it he could have easily did 300k-500k... and just because there's half a billion users on FB doesn't mean he would even sell half a billion at all
