The video says 2009 bro and I think the song's older than that
"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
          Guns and stretchers
          Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
'Cause cuz get hectic; send one through your sons intestines
Glocks knock lungs from chests, you get the portrait?
Bodies piled up on porches, it won't be gorgeous"

We all know that musically the song is wack. What some people are trying to say is that people expected him to make lollipoesque single to get the hype going and also as a catchy song to hear the clubs.

Thats what lollipop did exactly regardless how good/bad it was.

fuck the pop records and appealing to the commercial fans so he can get sales!!!

wud u rather want an album with amazing lyrical content and subject matter or a shitty commerical pop filthy record so he can sell a million copies in a week?

tbh i dont want another carter 3! it was totally weak except for a few songs

The music biz cares more about selling records than what's actually on the record. So you can expect a mainstream song with autotune/T-Pain stuff to be a single for the clubs and radio. Selling a milli in a week is a big deal in today's time so you can bet they're gonna do everything they can to repeat the success of C3. However, as a Weezy fan, I think Wayne is on a level now where he doesn't need to be mainstream to sell records...but songs like 'Lollipop' and 'Got Money' definitely help you achieve that goal.
