The music biz cares more about selling records than what's actually on the record. So you can expect a mainstream song with autotune/T-Pain stuff to be a single for the clubs and radio. Selling a milli in a week is a big deal in today's time so you can bet they're gonna do everything they can to repeat the success of C3. However, as a Weezy fan, I think Wayne is on a level now where he doesn't need to be mainstream to sell records...but songs like 'Lollipop' and 'Got Money' definitely help you achieve that goal.Originally posted by sai93 View PostComment
