How is he defending him? Sure, it's a subliminal diss I would say, but like THP said, it's the truth. Lil Wayne is a bad influence for kids, and Lupe has every right to say that about him. I don't think that Lupe meant to "diss" Wayne, but that's just how it came out. The only reason he said Wayne instead of another rapper is because Wayne has been on top of the hip-hop game since 2007.

If Lil Wayne is a Bad influence for kids then 75% of Rappers are too!I've listened too Wayne since I was 11, never wore red flags out my pocket, I just looked at it as entertainment. That's the problem with the parents, they're not telling their kids it's entertainment. I remember when I was 12 I said I was going to get a tear drop tattoo and be in a gang. My Uncle grabbed me up, and lifted me up by my shirt and told me if he ever saw me in a gang he was going lay my ass out, realtalk.Then my mother told me you can listen to T.I and Wayne, but as long as you know it's entertainment.


It's that simple, I would let my kids listen too explicit rap lyrics, as long as they know not to follow everything they say.

If anything I would tell them too be Successful like the rappers.
