Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em recently spoke on his close relationship with Cash Money Records co-founder Baby and why the company is waiting to sign him.
While discussing his new Juice mixtape, Soulja Boy revealed the Birdman's pursuit of him.
Cash Money is planning for a busy year, too, which will also include releases by Drake, [Nicki] Minaj, Kevin Rudolf, Lil Twist, Mack Maine, Shanell and Tyga. "It feels like a new excitement around here," Birdman reports. "We had Nicki blast off, Drake blast off, Wayne's back...It just feels like a whole new excitement around here. It's a real family, a team. We look after each other and are there for each other. We dedicate our life to this, and we make sacrifices for success. There's no stopping with us." (Billboard) A leaked listing of Cash Money/Young Money album release dates hit the Internet last month.
"Um, I ran into a lot of them, I never spoke on this," Baby told radio host Angela Yee when asked about artists he could have signed. "I had a chance with Keyshia Cole. I had a chance with [Young] Jeezy. T.I. Yeah, T.I. used to be in the studio with us, writing every day. We used to let him come in the studio and just chill with us when he was out there in Atlanta, when we used to go out there and record. A lot of them, I wish, but at that time we was just young, focusing on us. But, they went and made great careers." ("Morning After")

I feel like if I drop my mixtape and get Wayne on it, I'd really have the juice then [Laughs]. It is a possibility. When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said 'come and have a meeting with me' and he told me 'yo man you'd go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want. Get ready to hear a whole lot of Young Money Cash Money Billionaires this summer. YMCMB is readying releases from Wayne, Bow Wow, Lil Twist, G Malone & Brisco, DJ Khaled, Birdman & Jay Sean, and rounding it all out, Drake. Apparently Birdman has officially handed in tentative dates for releases to the CEO of Blu Division Music. Interesting enough the list is titled "YMCMB A Hot Summer."
