i think he's just trying to distance himself from the track because of all the negative controversy it has around it with people comparing it to Stan....kind of a wasted song in my opinion its a great beat and it could have been so much more

I'm calling bullshit. So Swizz just sat on it through prison?? I REALLY doubt Wayne was like "don't release this yet. I can do better." in 2008 Then allowing it to be released with it STILL not up to par in 2011.

The YM camp HAS to be VERY aware that EVERY new piece of material will be associated with C4.

I really think YM have been attempting to release singles with what Wayne has been lacking in his songs: substance. Except HTL and Dear Anne haven't had the impact expected.

So since this didnt make a huge splash, the explanation is: "Nah.. I wrote that in like 2008"
