      C2 > C3 > C1 > C4

      Carter 2 was Wayne at his most hungry and lyrical. He wanted to prove himself as the "Best Rapper Alive" and went hard to prove it. Carter 3 while had a weird structure definitely showed massive diversity yet content was at the very much heart of the album (Katrina issues and other personal issues) this helped him to really show passion in his lyrics and songs which is why C3 is actually a great album.

      C4 isn't bad but it's far from great. It's everything we knew Wayne would produce..recycling lyrics and song structures. We've heard the same punchlines so much we know every song is almost predictable now. That's why C4 is Wayne's worst carter album to date. Note I don't think it's a bad album though.

            Ha Anne's can get at me but they all know I'm a massive fan. I'm not hating just stating my honest opinion. I'm still a huge Wayne fan and probably always be. Just sometimes it's best to be open minded and not dick ride everything Wayne does because that's not a real fan. That's some bias love affair

              Well some people in here....Wayne can come out in a dress at a tour, and they gonna say.." Wayne is rich he can do what he wants..." its a brainwash to an extent...sorta like those idiot Jay Z fans that bought a copy of Tha Carter IV just to burn it...

                This album shits on C3...even with the punchline templates...honestly don't respect the opinion of anybody that disagrees....he's just flat out rapping better...the biggest difference now is that Wayne is at a different point in his career...C3 was a culmination of his epic run that started with C1 and brought him to the undisputed top of the game with the release of C3...while C4 was released at the peak of his backlash, because popularity breeds resentment and hate and people just getting tired of him...the same type lines people are obsessing over on C4 as being "OMG THIS IS THE WACKEST THING EVER" were all over Drought 3, and were getting heralded...Basically, it's an album full of "mixtape Wayne"...after Rebirth and the autotune era, he made the decision to put out an album focused on just him spitting..he did it, and i'm loving it

                    Guarantee if that verse was on C4, word for word, they'd be on that "60 wackest lines" list...and they're allllllllllllllllll over Drought 3...but it was "cool" to like Wayne then, but since then he's taken over the rap world and it's cool to hate him

                        While I agree that Wayne had some whack ass punchlines back then(I've been saying this) that people seemed to overlook or even praise, it's kind of different now. Every bar back then wasn't a metaphor, and he rode the beat more.

                        Though I will say people are seeming to focus in on his once in a while recycled set ups and punchlines on CIV(he's always been a recycler, let's be real), but he has a bunch of not recycled stuff as well. It honestly feels like people are just focusing on the bad points of C4.

                        Honestly...I like CIV more than CIII.

                        CII(9.5)>CI(8.5)>=CIV(8.5)>=CIII(8~).

                        CIII wasn't whack by any means. But neither is CIV, IMO.

                        I actually know a Wayne hater that that listened to CIV and came around.

                        Oh, and that verse isn't his Dipset verse...

                        Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

                          Could not say it any better myself.

                          U cant compare any of these albums to eachother Tha Carter all the way up to Tha Carter IV shows the clear growth as an artist and if u expect wayne to be the same as he was on the others then your just bein unREAL.

                          He changed on everyone one of those albums, and hes done it again i believe C4 is a combination of all the carters in terms of hunger and creativity. he has once again proven that he can provide the best selection of beats. The production on C4 is so diffrent, and it all suits waynes CURRENT situation and energy. He can still rock a crowd, But I also think that C4 was a album that was rushed, but it doesnt mean it is bad in any way shape of form, weezy is a natural when it comes to putting classics together PRONTO. Not many artist do what waynes doing/does/done ok CIV has dropped but the material he has to come, you know its gonna be too much.

                          Weezy says 'Fuck the world' because thats what he thinks he dont giva fuka bout anyones opinions hes doing himself. if you dont like it do one

                          he has the right attitude
