Lil Wayne Disses Tea Party, Says They Don't Respect Obama Because He's Black

These days, it seems like rappers fire shots at their contemporaries to boost album sales, be it the 50 Cent vs. Kanye West stunt that went down some years back or the recent Lil Wayne vs. Jay-Z "beef." But it appears that Weezy's disses are going beyond the world of hip-hop. In an interview with VIBE Magazine, he was asked to speak on the Tea Party debate and give his opinion on Republican presidential candidates Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and Michele Bachmann. His response wasn't so much an outright shot, but more of a "they don't give a fuck about us" type of answer:

“You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it,” Wayne tells VIBE. “I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they’re talking about or am I not?’ You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us.”

Damn. But that wasn't all. Weezy then noted that he believes these candidates don't respect President Obama because of his ethnicity. "I don’t think I have to say that for everybody to know that," he told VIBE. Personally, I don't know if Weezy is really the person to ask about stuff like this, if only because his social commentaries were missing on Tha Carter IV compared to his previous efforts.

i dont think he means all republicans don't like black people; but there is a very real and disturbingly large population of conservatives that are still VERY racist. namely Republican mormons. you know... mormons... the ones that believe all black people are black because they are the cursed descendants of Cain...

id have to disagree. he was handed a mess, and was expected to fix it in 4 years (when it took us 8 years to get there, thats if you dont count regans little defense spending increase). you can hardly say any of the policies of the last 4 years are even obamas. most of them were sad attempts at bipartisanship due to congress's inability to compromise.

the healthcare bill (aka obamacare herp de derp)... was essentially the same bill proposed by a republican congress to combat hillary clinton's bill. oh but when that republican bill is later proposed by a democratic congress its socialist communist ninja kenyan sorcery.

i feel bad for bill clinton. he had the country going in a good direction and then because he got his dick sucked in the oval office the american people decided that voting republican would reinstate good christian morals. like killing people in the middle east. nothings more christian than killing people right. (remember when the catholic church tortured people because they said the earth revolved around the sun... ahhh good times)

ignorance will be the downfall of democracy. in order for democracy to work the people have to be knowledgeable of what's going on in the country and how the political process works.

you can already see it happening with sarah palin. she essentially threw away her public service duty as governor of alaska to go on a book tour. and then people stood right behind her when she toyed with running for president
