He had a buzz, but it wasn't a Wayne buzz. If Wayne was as popular back then as he is now, his numbers would have been ridiculous. Do we understand the difference in audiences that Wayne and 50 command(commanded, in 50's case)?

I know he has a lot of money & he's busy doing lots of things. He owns so many different companies or part takes in ownerships/w different companies. don't know if anybody said this but their situations are also different because of how successfull nicki and drake are. Even if wayne loses his audiences he can stay relavent through drake's and nicki's audiences which are huge. Banks has a small audience and yayo's is non existent so when 50 started drowing , they couldn't help him they were drowning too.

Wayne has lost and is losing the bloggers and blog commenters as well as crtitics, this started with the carter 3 not matching LYRICALLY nor surpassing carter 2 (technical lyricism e.g double entendre's, transitions etc). But he"s got mainstream (cd buyers) by the neck as well as a large amount of people who are being loyal for this past great works (I'm in this category). I think he'll be fine if he does indeed retire at 35 and/or refocuses on lyrcism in addition to entertaing and witty lines. HYFR, president carter speech, and similar quallity verses show he hasnt lost it.
