Maybe you are not understanding the gravity of my post. One of the main purposes of music is that it is to be shared with the world. By you refusing to share songs that will never be shared in any other way, you are hurting the past, present, and future of music. You are hurting Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, the rest of the musical superstars of the past, the superstars from the present, and the superstars of the future. The fact that you refuse to release these tracks is going to affect the next Michael Jackson and the next Tupac Shakur. You are undermining the core values of art - the values that have been in place since the first humans set forth on this planet - and it is a shame. It is a damn shame.

But do you not agree that it should be the artist's decision to put out the music or not? Art is all about perception. How do people view your work? Or in the music case, how do people hear your work? There's a reason why there is a ton of unreleased music...it didn't fit into a project. I'm an artist myself in some ways and I wouldn't want my work to be seen partially incomplete or at the wrong time. And I wouldn't want my stuff to be seen if I wasn't proud of it. So if anyone has incomplete-unreleased Wayne tracks, I would not beg for them to be released.

I want the world to hear music the way the artist wants it to be heard.

He is epitomizing censorship right now. That is the problem. I don't care if the songs are complete or incomplete. It is the artist's job to protect his craft. If the work gets into the hands of another person, I feel the other person has every right to release the work and that person should release the work. Obviously, the law doesn't agree with what I am saying, but then again, he wouldn't get in trouble for leaking songs on a non-profit mixtape over beats that Lil Wayne did not pay for. Shit, The Empire didn't get into any trouble for leaking material that Lil Wayne spent millions of dollars to record.
