Dr. Carter, Tie my hands, shoot me down, and Mr. Carter are not random punchlines thrown together though. And his flow was crazy on every C3 song. Don't compare C3 and C4, there's really no comparison.

      1 I didnt compare them 2
2 there are 18 songs and 3 of them are meaningful, that doesnt make an album good.
3 Mr Carter is random punchlines.

I just wanted to say that my problem is more with the flow than the lyrics, and I know for a fact a lot of people feel the same way cause the lyrics on C3 weren't that good.

Alot of the lyrics on C3 kind of are a let down, but the whole vibe is just better. Fans want an album that the artist put everything they had into it. And Wayne did that with C3.
            For real though. C3 Sessions>C3 C4 Sessions>C4

Honestly I do like C4, and I fucked with it for a while, but compared to his other works, it's just lacking. I like every song on it, but not because as a whole there good, I like em for the scattered amazing lines. But as a whole a lot of the songs just fail.
lol i thought it had weak lines but still goodmoney.. but i kinda see what you sayin bcuz the intro was weak he didnt go hard on that at all to me but he said some nice lines i thought

                • lyrically carter 2> carter 3. Not even close. the step forward he took in his appeal and popularity was also a step back lyrically. I think a lot of people need to go back and listen closely to how he put his lines together on C2 then listen to carter 3. From a technicial perspective carter 2 is much better. also carter 2 is critically acclaimed among most critics whereas only some consider carter 3 worthy of critical acclaim

C2 is a complete different Wayne in general though. In between C2 and C3 he like completely transformed. But C2 is the craziest album he's ever put out. I bump that shit every single day. Probably my top album.

I prefer songs like 6'7 and his no ceilings flow where he just spits back to back punchlines. And I liked s4tw too but neither were as good as they could have been..
