Great interview tbh....he showed me how Cash Money really works tbh. I knew Wayne having a net of 85 million isn't really him. I mean with all the work he been doing Wayne should atleast be having 250 million by now...

so Wayne signing with Cash Money again was just because he was scared? damn... I think Juve did the right thing.....but why is he back with cash money tho? (didnt he resign with them?)

hmmm I think some of u lot are thinking about this not in the right way.

Artists have never made THAT much money from music..granted..it's millions..but not any much more than that. Remember Baby and Slim own the record label..so they get all the profit. The profit that all artists on other huge labels (sony, warner bros, interscope etc) don't ever see the huge profits either because the higher up directors and shareholders get the majority of it.

That's not to say the artists aren't getting loads..but you can never expect an artist to ever get the same salary and money compared to the dude sitting at the top of the whole label and operation. Which is probably why so many artists start clothing lines..headphones etc to use there famous image and following so they can sit at the top of their own operation and do the same in a different business

Nah I think a lot of YMCMB money is done under the table, like untaxed cash

As for Drake man seeing as he didnt sign with GOOD, YM had to offer him a better deal. And hes worth like 30M after 2.5 albums (not sure what to consider So Far Gone) and thats pretty fucking good

But if you look at like a forbes list of richest rappers, at the top all own labels, or guys who've been around forever
