Well from my understanding, he just said that this is certainly the final carter. Devol is finished, lfls 2 is finished and "if something random happens to pop up." means we can expect mixtapes, features, remixes etc. to be released after the carter 5, too. It's not the end of Lil Wayne as an artist, it's just the end of the Carter series and that's acceptable I guess.

I just don't get it, I honestly can't see it being better than C2/C3 so why would he say it's impossible for him to work harder than this on anything else when it isn't even as hard as he was working in 07/08... Of course we really haven't had any material to judge that statement on, then again working hard doesn't mean good lyrical songs we want, it just means he working hard lol.

I don't know what to believe man, Mack telling us it ain't, Wayne saying it is, Wayne first saying he retire at 35 yet this is his last solo album at like 31... I honestly think it's all just marketing. Same as always, we will get another solo album.
