It’s just sad to see he has absolutely no charisma or swag anymore!

His peers are evolving and he’s declining!

And it’s weird to me that his voice now is higher than when he was with the Hot Boys smh like wtf!

And no LWHQ Loved C5. Telling me the lyrics are on C5 level does nothing for me bro!
Yeah okay, I see what you’re saying. His voice on “Who” sounded raw filled with hunger so I do agree about his voice sometimes, but I feel like he’s just stretching it to stay in key. We’ll just have to wait and see when funeral comes out. I have a feeling that funeral isn’t gonna have Wayne sounding anything like this with the couple of beats we’ve heard that have a possibility of being on there. Verses can definitely be a hit or miss now but that’s what you get I guess when you record all day and night everyday for 20+ years. I have no expectations going into Funeral, and if everyone has that same mind set, we could be surprised

    • Holy shit I just heard Pusha T verse

THANK YOU ROSS FOR KEEPING HIM OFF THAT SONG!!!!!!! Gawd damn!

Prime example of Wayne’s Peers getting better with time, while he’s on the decline

      • He doesn’t have to sound like C2/C3 Wayne to me but if he could at least sound like C4/S4TW (like Nightmares of The Bottom) where it was more grit his verse would’ve been 100 times better

        • no wayne fan can say pusha didn't have a better verse

you mothafkcas are sooooo dramatic all wayne fans are like this he releases one average verse and everyone claiming he fallen off i dont get it yall have no patience or use logic and consider how much songs wayne makes and how much of it actually releases vs shelved material plus how the actual music recording side of things operates

HUMAN NATURE AND PULLIN dropped this year did he not sound hungry on those? please man its like wayne fans have short term memory loss or something
Bro even on them songs, he ain’t got swag in his voice and it’s not as deep as it once had been. Like he went hard but the delivery Fallin short. Thts all Im sayin. He ain’t got tht voice anymore which turns good verses into great ones and okay ones into good ones. It’s not as deep or powerful. And even tho it wasn’t tht deep and powerful in 16-17 it sounded better. It doesn’t sound good anymore

wayne's output in his prime is more than his peers have done in their careers entire careers though, also people acting like pusha WASHED wayne on this, he had the better verse sure, but was wayne washed? no

IMO, pusha sounded washed on this. He’s been doing the same flow & delivery for years now. Pusha style of rapping just sounds stale

Bro we don’t care about 10 years ago
                      We care about the NOW!
If that’s the case then STOP RAPPING!!!
At this point that’s what I’m leaning towards
                      Just be done rapping!

Washed, damn near! But I’ll stick to just saying he had a better verse
I can honestly care less about Wayne’s verse tho

Once again! A-1 production, who is that? John Legend On The Hook? Ross in Vintage Ross Mode! And Wayne comes in and half asses it!
Had the potential to be a classic song!

                      • Meh.

                        Wayne should’ve been given direction.

Pusha verse is only better due to subject matter. He didn’t outrap Wayne to me. Wayne had flows and shit, his verse stands out on that note. But it also stands out bc...wtf was he even talmbout next to these niggaz

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
