• Wow so I read it and this is my impression. 2 very broken people crossed paths against what should've been their better judgment, but both were just trying to live their best lives. Both saw their stupidity come back to bite them in the ass and both ended up inflicting serious damage on the other. Hurt people hurt people

None of it changes my view of Wayne as an artist, and I'm not even talking about the trans part everyone is wound about, that doesn't concern me. Roughest part for me was more that the arrangement she describes was really exploitative, not just with her but with others. While sometimes she describes living a pretty high life and being "in love" with him it honestly ended up reminding me of human trafficking because what she describes experiencing as time went on was not always free of threats/force (and she was involved in recruiting for him). The story is pretty dark in some places and like Liz said pretty accurately depicts an abusive relationship, although I am not sure the author is aware of it as such.
Because of that I felt it was authentic

I don't approve of what she is doing...I think it's terrible in fact and I had a long internal struggle about whether to read the book because it feels like a terribly invasive thing to do. But the fact that the story makes her (and him, really) look so, so bad is in fact what makes it believable to me, because who would paint themselves in such an unflattering light just to make a little money? As a female I can't see anyone risking their reputation and sanity like that, making themselves look so trashy and morally compromised and pissing off powerful people if they weren't telling the truth.

I agree that the book is terribly written....tons of typos, way too gory on the sex scenes. I personally gather she is motivated more by catharsis of what must have been a traumatizing and dehumanizing situation for her. On the one hand it seems predictable it would've ended with her being discarded, but on the other I was also really taken aback at how poorly she describes he treated her and others, I think it's fair to say that she got in deeper than expected and was a bit trapped. My 2 cents

Sometimes very kindly, other times terribly mean and at it's worst it was a little rapey tbh. Also he basically used her to run a sex ring. If in fact it's all true. I kind of regret reading it. While I certainly expected he was a misogynist and sex addict and while I don't let these things impact my opinion of him as an artist, to me what is described in the book went beyond that and was a bit disturbing. Hope that makes sense

Yeah, possible she is mentally unwell also as the book describes a suicide attempt after one instance in which he was particularly cruel to her. But it's interesting that his team hasn't threatened her with a slander lawsuit. I recall when the sex tape fiasco happened that got shut down pretty quick by his legal team...

same bcuz her page been up since February and basically she went viral this month so i would think they know about it. but true or not this isnt something wayne should be ok with being out to the public. it can really affect him and the people around him. like some of the words you used to describe what you were reading like he shouldnt even wanna be linked to words like that in 2020

Going off his lyrics I noticed he started sounding more misogynistic after coming out of prison. Probably the whole culture he grew up in, Birdman getting grown women to basically sexually abuse him when he was a preteen and shit
