No offense man but I think there's a big difference here considering ya'll have access to/could request those C5 sessions if you wanted to (if you don't have them already). The rest of us just have to pray Wayne's team isn't a bunch of braindead morons when it comes to releasing music. Ya'll have done a better job in a couple years then they've done in a decade.

Dont think this is fair. We got a 26 track album 2 years ago. It should of ended there. But Mack gave us an extra 7 today - 4 of which are new. Most artists don't do deluxe's years later. We shouldn't of even got this hypothetically - but we did. Mack fucked up calling it "OGC5" but this was great for the fans, half a dozen extra songs. It sucks you didn't get the songs you may have wanted but to the average fan that doesn't really follow snippets this is great.

Its unfortunate but im doing it how iTunes did it. Disc 1 (tracks 1-10) are the bonus's

Under my 2018 C5 with the original cover art. I replaced What About Me with Sosaman with the Post Malone one.

And then put the rest of the Bonus songs after Used 2 and left Let It All Work Out as the last song.

Since 2014 they have been telling us C5 is rare, classic and worth the wait. Wayne kept playing snippets from it at the skatepark all the time (OG Open Safe, Take It Slow, Shake It etc) so we know that he was aware to the album’s greatness. Then when it finally dropped we got something almost completely different ( i get it - they didn’t want it to sound outdated but I can give more than few examples of why it still sounds outdated in some parts), too much autotune and too many non rap songs. Although it’s a good album in terms of hiphop today, it’s not good enough to be a Carter album. ( they should have been released the singing type songs as Velvet along with the leaked sessions but thats not the point)
We stood by Wayne’s side all those years so at least we have the right to ask for these songs. They could release The Leak 2 with most of the OG songs and get over with it. Btw Wayne is the one to blame here, not Mack. I’m not buying all the “Mack and Tez decide everything” shit anymore

True but let's be real this is just a marketing trick to make up for the lost sales of Funeral and Funeral Deluxe. Carter titles always sell better than his other projects.

I think you missed my point and are kinda trying to say I'm being selfish and rude, which was never the intention. I just want the leak collectors to understand things from the average forum user's POV since we don't have the benefit of possibly hearing these tracks due to our own financial situations. We depend on Mack to make the right decisions about what gets released, so in that regard, yes I agree with you on Mack fucking this up. I guess I (as well as many other fans) just feel underwhelmed, but I'm def not selfishly disappointed at all. Like I said, I liked the new tracks. Did I ever expect the full OGC5 to come to streaming? Absolutely not, that would be crazy and unrealistic af. I just wish we got the 2014 album (aka the C5 Wayne wanted released) in the first place so we wouldn't still be arguing 6 years later about the tracks we never did get. I didn't mean to come across malicious, I was just trying to make a clarification. It's still all love.

C5 deff worth the Carter title imo. Great album and better than C4 at least. C1 debatable (imo)
And yeah Wayne gets blame too. But I think we got a great album and I'm happy with what we got + the leaks. There was a time in 2016-17 I thought C5 would be like Detox. Now we've heard like 60 songs from it between the album and leaks. I'm super content. And it's not that easy to just release it. Beats get shopped around, they lose rights shit like that. For example, the leaked song with Flow, No Brainer, got given to PARTYNEXTDOOR.
