Well who's fault is that Wayne could have reached out and got great production but settles for dated producers and randoms. Same goes for a better team. I'm not a fan of if's. This the reality. And Wayne isn't even doing bad - 2 top 500 projects is great and on par with people on this list such as Eminem and Drake.

Tbh if he signed with Jay Z i'm sure he would've have better crafted albums and so much better production.
rather wayne be who he is now than under jay's wing personally

Damn is a no skip album, it's a concept album, it has everything, radio hits, bangers, introspective deep tracks, straight rapping, feel good tracks, story telling, love songs, production is flawless etc....
Edit: saw ur other post, TPAB shits on Carter 4 too, and is in my opinion Kendricks best album.Last edited by WeezyFan; 09-23-2020, 03:44 AM.

it is a part of what males him great. Please do not undermine the importance of social concious artists.
they shape the times they live in, and/or the time past their death. People value art with a message way more than bullshit, those are the artists who will be remembered.
In the long run Kendricks whole legacy will live longer than Waynes, cause Kendrick influenced people to think about social issues.
Wayne will only be remembered one hell of a dope rapper, but so will Kendrick, but Kendrick will be remembered as much more.
I hate them thirsty bitches
Cut them off like circumcision

im just sayin socially conscious music sells on its own. Like people will respect it just due to what he’s talking about. no way will Kendrick be remembered more than wayne. Kendrick was a great rapper and social justice leader. Wayne is a credit to human achievement. He did things with his voice and deliveries that humans could only dream to have done. He did things humans didn’t think we’re possible.

c5s best songs are on another level. All damn and tpab or like on the level of demon, or mess. Like solid but can’t duck with Wayne’s iconic style on his best c5 songs. And lyrically c4 broke boundaries. It’s a work of art. Which must be looked at as so. The lyrical style was first used and honed in by Wayne. Sonically not my fav but the work stands. As well as ianhab2
