im just sayin socially conscious music sells on its own. Like people will respect it just due to what he’s talking about. no way will Kendrick be remembered more than wayne. Kendrick was a great rapper and social justice leader. Wayne is a credit to human achievement. He did things with his voice and deliveries that humans could only dream to have done. He did things humans didn’t think we’re possible.

c5s best songs are on another level. All damn and tpab or like on the level of demon, or mess. Like solid but can’t duck with Wayne’s iconic style on his best c5 songs. And lyrically c4 broke boundaries. It’s a work of art. Which must be looked at as so. The lyrical style was first used and honed in by Wayne. Sonically not my fav but the work stands. As well as ianhab2
      lmfao you are biased af.

C5 is a great album sure and on those grounds i can see you making a case for c5>damn/tpab however it again would wear thin because C5 as good as it is is unpolished and flawed in many places.....

C4/IANAHB2 though.... no sir that was waynes sell out phase C4 is puddle deep, lacklustre lyrically and production is hallow and empty has no heart no energy its aged like a corpse

IANAHB2 was creative and interesting but again is hailed and recognised as one of the worst albums of all time in the rap genre by a majority of listeners i dont think it deserves that much hate i certainly prefer it over C4 but its not touching TPAB AND DAMN. by any means at all

love FWA and its definitely waynes strongest lyrically and conceptually and its top 3 in my opinion on those grounds i like the authenticity to it NO SELL OUT records no gimmicks just raw rapping and emotion its a cult classic but would be very hard to debate it alongside the heavy hitters in the mainstream just due to it now having any big names on it both production and/or features wise but its certainly worth it in every other way to be celebrated at a top 500 album

it is a part of what males him great. Please do not undermine the importance of social concious artists.
they shape the times they live in, and/or the time past their death. People value art with a message way more than bullshit, those are the artists who will be remembered.

In the long run Kendricks whole legacy will live longer than Waynes, cause Kendrick influenced people to think about social issues.
Wayne will only be remembered one hell of a dope rapper, but so will Kendrick, but Kendrick will be remembered as much more.
I love kendrick, but you also gotta remember one of the reasons he will be remembered more is his prime being in a different timeline than wayne's. Social media and streaming is a huge factor, and we also now in the era of speaking our minds and fighting for social justice more than ever (then again, highly doubt wayne would talk on social justice ever, other than a few key songs lmao)

But yeah overall kendrick should have a great legacy ahead of him; he just needs to drop something lol cause people are quick to move on. In that sense wayne had a great legacy; with his constant drops and leaks in his prime he made sure no one forgot about him.

Damn is a no skip album, it's a concept album, it has everything, radio hits, bangers, introspective deep tracks, straight rapping, feel good tracks, story telling, love songs, production is flawless etc....

Edit: saw ur other post, TPAB shits on Carter 4 too, and is in my opinion Kendricks best album.
                  Tbh everything shits on c4
