sounded like he was dealing with the grief of rabbit and she was abusing him and wayne saw an out via CM and his potential rap career but his mum didnt support it and tried to stop it so he attempted suicide as a response thats how im interpreting it all

But this is pretty much the same as what he says on Let It All Work Out, just more detail.

It's obvious he has only very recently become comfortable acknowledging the fact that he tried to kill himself and talking about it publicly. He said he'd never even explained it to his mum before C5 came out. Hardly unusual for someone who has attempted suicide to be ashamed or embarrassed or in denial, want to avoid admitting it and make up some other explanation. Especially coming from where he comes from and being a rapper - everything is about being tougher than everyone else all the time.
