i highly doubt that you were the same person 3 years ago.
we each undergo our own life changes as well as environmental changes.
Even if weezy did not sell the same amount or more than the carter 3's record sales it does not make him less of an artist, it just means less people are buying CD's and just gonna download it illegally. i cant tell you how many people will download their own favorite artists CD just to have it like 2 days before it comes out and not have to pay for it. But for us TRUE fans that dont care whether or not he is on drugs, or how many records he sold, we only care about one thing and that is just that he keeps giving out music.
to be honest why would you want a tape just like the drought 3? if you want a tape just like the drought three listen to the drought 3. And finally what kind of fan are you to say that weezy is dead? a fan is a fan, no matter what an artist goes through. you cant just be a fan of lil wayne in 2005 or 2007. that is rediculous. either you are a fan or you arent. and if your not you should prolly step off the site. Nope, C3 numbers will never be reached again. Lollipop carried the album sales because of the mainstream success, without a repeat of a song like that it won't see those numbers again. Well thats my non-biased view.

I co-signed you up until that point. People can still be fans of someone yet they don't like their recent music. They are fans of the person because they recognize the potential or ability he has shown, but doesn't listen to the more recent music because they believe the artist isn't putting his best into it.
