And whoever said Gudda outshined weezy on this track is crazy, compare the lyrics and overall delivery.
I said it but if you actually read what I said you'll see why I said it. Gudda's delivery and lyrics have improved greatly and this song showed it. Wayne did Wayne, there was no difference to him, it's what you expected from Wayne. Gudda wasn't expected to do this well on the track yet he did so in my opinion he outshined Wayne. When I listen through it I notice Wayne as usual just murdering the track but I notice Gudda more because he's got a lot better.
Thats dumb, so because wayne never dissapoints Gudda impresses you more for having an average verse ?

SMH this website full of idiots..
How is it dumb? I noticed Gudda's improvement a lot more than Wayne's verse. I'm not just gonna dick ride on Wayne cause he murdered the track. Yeah Gudda's verse wasn't as good as Wayne but compared to other stuff he's done it was a vast improvement, that's why Gudda impressed me more. Wayne is expected to do what he did, Gudda was a lot better than people thought. I think it's better that Gudda showed improvement than Wayne doing what he always does but that's MY opinion whether you like it or not.
Its dumb cuz you can just say Gudda improved period. You dont have to say he outshined wayne cuz that makes you sound dumb

Not with lines like "put niggas to sleep like a downer" . Its not dickriding..its just facts.
No there is no "facts" involved, it's your opinion and I have mine and I've stated it. There is a lot of hard dick riding from people like you because you can't accept that I think Gudda was better because he showed massive improvement. Wayne did nothing new or nothing special for his ability, Gudda did, that's my whole point. I'd rather hear someone like Gudda get a lot better in 5 songs each time getting better than hearing Wayne do what he does everytime in 5 songs, but hey that's just because I'd like to see some other artists reach their potential than Wayne run the game non stop. Wayne has been consistant but hasn't varied himself in months now, why is because he hasn't had any serious competition, people like Gudda get better and start testing Wayne then Wayne pushes himself to get better. But obviously people don't understand that simple concept.[/quote:gxybfwt2]Dumb sh1t once again.

Wayne is the most versatile rapper in the game with his flow. Its not even a matter of opinion. Sure its nice to see Gudda get better but get better at what ? Doing his best Lil Wayne immitation ? He did good, but outshine wayne at doing an average immitatation of wayne ? cmon.

Should wayne be punished for being so good at what he does ? I mean, wtf are you getting at ?

superman2 is so right on this one..i swear to god i've always thought bliss was a stupid kid (remember he was the idiot with skim who thought they were gonna give a random stranger on the internet $400 in return for 30 mins to NO LOL)
i can't belive you just compared weezy f baby's flow to tech nine? wayne's flow is the most innovative, creative, versatile flow in the history of hip hop. and he is evolving in 2010 in a positive way
bliss stfu you're embarrassing yourself lol...

          Re: Willy Wonka

Why are you guys coming down so hard on Bliss for his opinion? Wayne even stated himself that he didn't think No Ceilings was that great, he just put it out there becuase he hadn't put out something in a while. I think that when Wayne pushes himself he does have flow and delivery that most other rappers can't match, but when he isn't trying other rappers can top him.

Gudda's verse was surprisingly good, it seemed better than some of the other verses I have heard from him. Lil Wayne's verse was good, but nothing special. It is true, he didn't do anything new on this. Not saying that I expect him to, but it would be nice to see something switched up a small bit. Nevertheless, he still did a great job.

            He was being Sarcastic.

Thats why in the video Short Dawg says "bullsh1t" after Wayne said that..

SMH. I think yall say dumb sh1t on purpose just to see if ppl will notice The guy that just put out a fukkin ROCK album needs to "switch things up a bit" The same guy who does hooks, does songs like home run, inkredible, drip, drop the world, die for you and willy wonka needs to switch up ? I'm done. PS: Wayne verse>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gudda.

                superman2,

You do have a good point there, I guess he does switch it up. I only listen to LIl Wayne when he raps, not any of the Rebirth stuff. I have listened to it but I just don't like it, and that is the same for most of his auto-tune songs as well. That might make me have a bit of skewed viewpoint since I never really listen to any of his other stuff more than once.

And I would say that lyrically Lil Wayne's verse does beat Gudda's, but Gudda stands out more since I am not used to hearing him as much as Wayne.

Wow I haven't posted in this thread yet? Hmmm.... here we go:

This song is amazing and already has about 50 plays in my iTunes (Well 11 all the way through, I change the song before it ends all the way sometimes). Anyways, about 50 plays already, I have mastered the lyrics, and I think they were both on point lyrically and with their flow.

Gudda Gudda is my second favorite rapper in Young Money right now. Yes, he is even in front of Drake and Nicki Minaj. There is something about him that just makes me like his music a lot more. When I heard him on Dedication 3 I thought he was sick, along with Jae Millz. So to me when he says "The streets say I'm king, but the game will never crown me" I believe him and fully agree. I don't think he is better than rappers like Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and Eminem, but he is improving rapidly. Back on topic though, his flow in this song (and every other) is really good and he is very clear when he raps which I like. His lyrics were very good as well and had some great punchlines. Overall I give Gudda Gudda an 9/10. Simply impressive

Lil Wayne is my favorite rapper period so obviously this opinion will be bias. I like the way he kind of switched up flows in this song and even during the middle of his verse as well. He did the same thing in "In the City" as well, which has become one of my favorite songs (reminds me of the old Wayne). He kills this song with his lyrics which include great punchlines: "The coach in the booth, call me Jon Gruden" that line is sick (if you don't understand it, you don't watch football). Wayne killed it and I give him a 10/10

Overall: The song was sick and they need to collab more often. Every time they do it's an instant hit. 10/10

                          ----------

EDIT: The lack of autotune also makes it seem better than the Demolition Freestyles Part 1 and 2 to me. I prefer natural weezy.
