Cole, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Nas, Jay Z, etc. are just a few that can hang with Wayne's wordplay while having meaning in the majority of their songs, and can tell a story with their albums and mixtapes. Wayne did that pretty well with Tha Carter II, and that's why it's far and away his best album and is so well accepted by hip hop heads. Still, it's nowhere near the level of Jay Z's Reasonable Doubt, Nas's Illmatic, and Mos Def's "Black On Both Sides", just to name a few. Kanye has "The College Dropout" that is around the same level of TCII. Personally, I believe Kanye and Wayne are around the same level right now.

      Of course, that's just my opinion. Music is music. If you think otherwise of the artists I mentioned, then that's cool - people have different tastes.

      I thought Jay-Z already dissed them on "Thank You", or maybe I'm lookin' too deep into it. What do you think???
