    that gets boring aswell imo...
Like, take C3 or Rebirth, there are loads of songs about different things, some deep.
But Recovery is mostly just all the same, not dissing em and I love Recovery. But that shit got boring to me.

But yeah I agree completely with that reply that was clearly the best one, sar49632's

        Re: Changed lil wayne wtf?

Thanks everyone for the support lol I wrote that last night super late so I'm glad it all made sense. I just can't stand it when people start ranting about nothing and not taking the time to sit back and really think about both sides of the issue. I absolutely love Wayne's music but their are some songs that just scream out potential for the future.

        About Em:
While yes if you listen to each song individually on Recovery it can get a little repetitive because he is talking about the same stuff. That album, I think, was meant to be listened to from front to back because it tells a story. It's just his way of saying this is where he is in his life and where is values are now. The album shouldn't be looked at as a rapper/hip-hop album bc Em even says its not in 25 to Life. It's his form of a concept album you could say. While I think the Marshall Mather EP was lyrically deeper and overall a better album, Recovery easily is his second best. Why? I think it's because he's writing with a clearer mind. The Eminem Show, Encore, and Relapse were all made when he was messed up on something, and those albums aren't that great. I'm thinking the same could be said if Wayne did the same thing for just one album. I'm sure the album would be his deepest lyrically and have you saying "damn!" even after the 100th time you heard the song.

Shoot even Em has changed as a MC. Listening to his greatest hits album and the hits off his last two, you have to ask yourself if they could all be hits had he released each song at different time periods. I think Lose Yourself is the only song that could have the same impact regardless of when he released it. Off the top of my head, I don't think the same can be said about Wayne (maybe Hustler Musik); but when I listen to Wayne I can easily see him making a song or album of that caliber. I think a lot of us can see this too and that's why we are wanting Wayne to "change."

Sorry for the lengthy post again lol
