How do u guys feel about the rapper to rocker trend?
Why? The real dudes wouldnt do that's stuff. You'd never see 2pac, Biggie, Nas, Game, Cube, Eazy-E, Jay-Z, etc. doing rock shit.
So because Wayne did rock hes not real??? Thats just stupid. It doesnt even make sense.
Wayne did rock because thats just what he wanted to do, he dresses in skinny jeans because thats what he wants to do. All them dudes have absolutely nothing to do with it. They are them, Wayne is Wayne.
Re: How do u guys feel about the rapper to rocker trend?
I love Lil' Wayne, and I love rock music. To be honest, the music and sound of the album had the makings of one hell of a rock album. If he wouldn't have modified his voice so much, I would have loved it alot more.

jay-z.linkin park - collision course?
you're just listing off rappers from one generation, they're style was baggy clothes and other crap. honestly, that style limits black males in america.
the genration before's styles/trends were different, as is the generations after are as well.
this is a new era for hip hop & music as a whole, restricting an artist's style to his/her origins or stereotypes is ridiculous. any person should be able to wear what they want without being criticized or being called "fake".
& THAT is something i think pac & big would agree on.
Re: How do u guys feel about the rapper to rocker trend?
I wish tha rappers would all just stick 2 rap, but if they wanna do it. then let 'em. maybe they're better wit tha rock shit than their rappin'? perhaps soulja boy should try tha guitar (j.k.). idk, i just dont wanna lose tha good rappers from tha hip hop scene.
i thought wayne didnt start that rap-rock shit
and personally i dont like rebirth
Me 2 cuz i thought that he listened to Kanye and that that inspirated him for making a rock album
But i can be wrong
So Lil Wayne, Whats your motivation?
'Is that really a question?
Do you really have that written down in your notepad?
You should be ashamed of yourself
You smell me girl
I smell like money'
