Cause I've been listening to Wayne since 2004 and I'm hoping he gets better.

alright, so since you've been listening to wayne, 2004, he's put out, in your opinion 2/3 good fucking albums. and you're a pessimist, especially when it comes to wayne, rarely do i see you giving props where props are due. just an observation, no need to argue that specific observation. but still, in your opinion, wayne has put out 2 good fucking albums out of the trilogy.

and yes i'm disregarding tbih,5hd,rb,ianahb. anyone speaking of/speculating against/comparing "typical wayne" would also do so..

In some way i understand what Franknstein is trying to say.

I don't mind Wayne bragging bout his life, but it was waaaay better when he
bragged and boasted like on Tha Mobb.
Instead of using all this lil made up metaphors he actually spitted full sentences.

Yea I definitely like that better too. I think almost everyone does. And @THP IANAHB wasn't an album Wayne was really putting a lot into. He didn't record songs in the mind state that he was going to be putting those songs on an album. Only like 2 or 3 were meant for C4. While he was in prison he came up with the idea of putting that out so people would have some holdover music. That's why it wasn't called Tha Carter 4..... Because he knows how to make a good album

Well this is stupid, he has put out 8 albums, and 1 is good and another is decent. The rest are shit. Thats 25%. I won't argue the props things like you said... If you want though I will.

He didnt record those songs for that album.
Those songs were not all meant for that album when they were recorded. So what if it was going to be an EP?
It was only released as an album because they wanted to give us more songs.
And they said months before it was released that its just gonna be something for us to play, not the dopest album he's put out

It really seems Wayne just went on a recording rampage in 2007-2008. I loved the songs he made before CIII was official, which made me fall in love with his music. That, and he's different. He's unlike any other rapper out there. Do It Again, Gossip, Let's Talk It Over, etc Were amazing songs. Don't get me wrong, i love C3, but i really do think that's when Wayne went..."People don't want to hear about drugs and weapons and violence all the time, they wanna know about that rich and famous life" No doubt about it, Wayne will have a few songs about jail, at least two REAL RAP songs. Some will be club bangers, others will be street singles. But i believe, AS A WAYNE FAN, he'll never go back to living his C2 lifestyle and will continue with those punchlines. It's just who he is now.

anyone that's listened to lil wayne longer than 6 years, knows EXACTLY what i'm talkin about... even the people that listened to his music for only 2 years, but gave 12+years of his music a listen, would know what i'm saying.

Jay put out an "album" with Linkin Park, their beats, his bars. an entire cd of blends, if i go try and argue with jay-z fans that he isnt the greatest cuz THAT album sucks, they'd say the exact same things. and i'd have nothin but, "yea, well that ONE sucked."
