im really hoping the single that comes out is the only song we hear on C4 before C4. ive been seeing a lot of people lately talking about how 6"7" may not be on the album after all and john still hasnt been officially confirmed which got me thinking.....If this single is big and they dont delay the video for it like 6"7" then that could hold everybody over til june 21. i really think wayne has something like this up his sleeve where we will all get the album on the 21st and just be completely in awe. I dont think he would agree to delay a release for a month and still put on songs that are 6 months old. What do yall think?

lol, knew that was coming.

i dig both artists, wayne more of course, however i have a bunch of friends who have jumped on the big sean bandwagon as of late, and who are diggin' sean more that wayne's latest material.

now me, personally, i'll be buying both albums the day of release, but i know there will be some people who won't want to buy both, or who are also feeling big sean more and would lean toward purchasing finally famous.

all personal opinions aside, i believe it's a fact that same day releases of big artists, not to mention in the same genre, hurt album sales. ideally i'd want to drop my album on a date when no other peers' projects are dropping as well.

imo this is just a bad situation for sean ..he's going to be destroyed by Wayne , I feel bad for the dude actually . He will probably delay it himself or wait for Wayne to inevitably push back his album could go either way but for him to drop on the same day as Wayne is just a shit move for him seriously. No matter what you think Wayne will sell he will definitely take up a lot of the potential Big Sean buyers ..

@sheezz i definitely agree. didnt kanye and 50 have the same release date a few years back and they were really competing for who would top the other for 1st week sales. i think that was them i may be mistaken

not saying i think sean is on the same level as wayne but you would just think people who pick the date would be want to have another week besides somebody else in the same genre

i completely agree with you, i just want tha carter IV to have full potential. nothing in it's way where people might say "oh, he would have sold this much if that hadn't happened..."

exactly, and although they did that out of publicity/for promotion, i believe that without that competition, kanye would have been able to sell a milli the first week easily.
