Because he didnt work on it as an album. he just recorded most of them songs before he went in, he said it himself. And it was just a thrown together thing.

Yea the songs were thrown on the album together...but I don't think that he rushed tha Carter IV...if he really wanted to relased these songs as Carter IV songs then why would he just rush them...?

Not all them songs were for C4. And you can tell that he just wasnt hungry or anything. he even said in Nino 2 that he wasnt feeling it that much back then.

Wayne is still going hard... you cant use Hit The Lights & Bom Chicka Wow Wow as examples why he isnt... they are pop songs... so of course the wont have a gangster/hard sound to them
