WTF is a mainstream feel? Nigga look up what mainstream is. Mainstream means dominant and widely excepted to a group(fans). I don't care where John was on billboards. It's not street single or they wouldn't be playing the shit out of it on the radio and thousands from all over the world downloading it from iTunes. Amilli never had a pop sound but still was a Mainstream single. An example of a street single is Fat Joes Brolic. I bet if you asked Wayne, Ross, and Cortez if John is a street single they would strongly disagree.

Yeah but the only reason its mainstream by that definition is because its a Lil Wayne song. It wasnt designed to be a mega #1 hit, its a raw/hard rap song. Thats what we mean when we say it isnt a mainstream song.

And Wayne said even 6F7F could end up being just "something off The Carter IV" and not actually on the album. So could this.

Well, I agree with you on most points.
But most of us think a "mainstream" track is a song that appeals to a veeery wide audience (boys/girls, blacks/whites, younger/older people) you know?
John really ain't mainstream in that way.

I know that but a mainstream song doesn't have to be a mega #1 hit like Lollipop.

Yeah but thats the point. It isnt meant to be. So its not "mainstream" in that way.

                        • What do you think C4 would sell if it dropped next week?

                          I'd say 250k-300k right now.
