There was a couple good songs, no denying that. But it was by far his worse album. His lyrics might have been cool, but lyrically that shit was weak. One line hes talking about girls, next line was about YM, next line was about kush, next line was about the world being his somehow. I mean, I bump that shit sometimes, but this thread is about him lyrically. And IANAHM was weak lyrically imo.

Yes. But it was still an album. Do y'all not get that lol. Who cares if thats not what it was intended for. It WAS put out as an album, so thats what it IS.

technically it is an album, but from a quality standpoint i wouldnt consider i a legit lil wayne rap album in the same vein as The Carter series......

Re: Where is Lil Wayne Lyrically!?

it was an album i hate to admit. it was just the songs that birdman, mack maine & cortez bryant thought werent c4 worthy because wayne was going to record more when he came out.

so for leftover tracks they shud have released a mixtape after c4. for waynes birthday they shud have mastered some other wayne tracks in waynes database that belongs and put it out as a mixtape.

i seriously think mack maine is the worst president ever! and tez/birdman are fucking idiots they are ruining waynes fucking reputation. wayne cant say no to them & plus he cant pick his tracks because he was behind bars.

wayne wundt have wanted a leftover track album to comeout that way.

wayne shud have joined roc nation when he had the chance.

lol jk the content and subject matter of his lyrics are nothing special. drugs, guns, sex, diamonds, money, cars and hoes. what's new with wayne?

i wish he does songs like "tie my hands", "paradise", "fuck today", "drop the world", & mr. carter.

these songs that i have listed have unique subject matters. i wish he wud talk more about his struggles in life rather than what he has. like i still didnt hear that much new material but he shud talk about his jail time experiences. he shud talk about the problems that are plaguing american life and the entire life etc.

i kno that will never happen with wayne, so i dont bother anymore. but my favorite lyrical songs by him is "tie my hands". possibly my favorite track from wayne.

I, knock on the door, hope isn't home
Fate's not around the lucks all gone
Don't ask me what's wrong ask me what's right
And I'ma tell you what's life, and did you know?
I lost everything, but I ain't the only the one
First came the hurricane, then the morning sun

                  such a beautiful song.

ps. im not hating on wayne. i just want him to talk about something else in his raps.
The reason he cant really talk about struggling is cause he is not struggling like he was back in the day. He has money, he has cars, he has girls, and etc so thats whats he doing to rap about cause thats whats around him all the time. It would be like him rapping about being in the hood even though he not in the hood, people would be like what the fuck he talking about he aint struggling.

My guess is he will do another deep song soon because someone died a couple days ago (forgot his/her name but R.I.P). So there is another possible deep song coming out.

Not being able to drink or smoke is not STRUGGLING. He out of jail so he not STRUGGLING. If you shallow enough to think not being able to do drugs and drink is struggling then idk is wrong with you.

Struggling is not being able to pay bills on time or losing your house, shit like that. Do you know what the fuck struggling is?

Re: Where is Lil Wayne Lyrically!?

^ Agree. Wayne's not struggling in any type of way. He could still talk about his jail experiences though, it's something he's recently been through. When you think about it there really is nothing for him to talk about except what he already talks about. He's never been a deep rapper anyway and I'm sure everyone liked D2, DD3, & NC.

Still.... Fire Flame (Remix), Hoes & Ladies, & 6 Foot, 7 Foot go super hard and Look At Me Now is good too. So he's making it work
"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
                        Guns and stretchers
                        Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
'Cause cuz get hectic; send one through your sons intestines
Glocks knock lungs from chests, you get the portrait?
Bodies piled up on porches, it won't be gorgeous"

obviously wayne ain't struggling but what about the rest of the world. like he can still make a deep song without it being personal. so much fucked up shit is going on in the world right now and just because he might not be dealing with anything personally doesnt mean he can't rap about it
