  • Safe to say 2011 belongs to Wayne??

It's a celebration b*tches, Mazel tov/ It's a slim chance I'll fall," Lil Wayne raps on DJ Khaled's "I'm On One." From the looks of it, there's truth to Weezy's rhymes.

After "I'm On One," featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Wayne, debuted on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week at No. 60, Lil Wayne now holds twelve songs on the chart. He's the only artist to beat that mark with 13 songs simultaneously during two weeks in 2008.

There's no escaping Weezy F. Baby. Nor do you want to, especially if you're an artist crafting a chart stopper. Jennifer Lopez posted her first single on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in close to four years with "I'm Into You," featuring Wayne. Her last track to peak highest on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart was "I'm Real" (featuring Ja Rule), from 2001. Weezy is featured on two of the three top tracks on the chart with "Motivation" by Kelly Rowland and "Look At Me Now" by Chris Brown featuring Busta Rhymes.

With "Tha Carter IV" slated for the summer and twelve charting hits in his back pocket already, is it safe to say that 2011 belongs to Lil Wayne?

              That is awesome.

I remember back in 2008, around the time of the Carter 3, Wayne was breaking every record possible. Doing some of the biggest shit some people have never seen done before.

And, after seeing this, is it possible that it can happen again? I really do hope so.

              This shit is great.

For rap yes, but for music & entertainment as a whole, no.
