Is the original song only by Lyfe jennings and Lil Wayne?
ty
hit me wit dat link boi.
EDIT: this is from wikipedia. don't know how credible but its something:
Lil Wayne appeared on the original version of "Brand New" but was later re-recorded and Lyfe Jennings replaced him with T.I. for the album version. The original still exists and can be heard on YouTube.
and Wayne's verse was reused on R.L.'s "Girl Like Her"

which one came first? lyfe jennings or r.l.'s?
would that mean that 1 of them is a blend?
basically they put out the version with Wayne for promo and then decided to put the one with T.I. on the album so Wayne's version only got put out as a single and not on the album. then R.L. wanted to use it and because it wasn't officially on an album they didn't have the rights to it so basically he just had to buy the verse from Wayne instead of Lyfe Jennings.
