There was some stabs at each other in older songs, I can explain

The song Beat Without Bass (2007) near the end of the song had a line that took shots at Hov:

"You Old Ass Rappers Better Stay On Tour
You're Like 44, I Got A 44, I'm 24
I Could Murk You And Come Home When I'm 44"

Now, who else could he of been talking about there? Jay is the only huge rapper who is in his 40s.

Jay respeonded on T.I.'s Watch What You Say To Me (2007)

Jay wasn't in his 40's back in '07. Wayne wouldn't diss Jay seeing as Jay tried to recruit him a few years earlier. Who says he has to even be dissing anyone and not just talking? Wayne makes threats on tracks all of the time. He didn't say anything to correlate directly to
Jay, unlike with Louisianimal. He was on American Gangster('07). He gave Jay the track. That's some reaching going on there.

Yes, I understand that, but who else could the lyrics be refferring to? Wayne said "You're like 44" , which suggests someone near that age. The lyrics were just jabs at each other, hence Jay's line "I hear you baiting me lately, I been doing my best just to stay hater free". Nothing as large as the 50 attack, but quite noticeable.
