For just about every post Tl;dr.
            ---

Curren$y definitely influenced Wsyne's lyrics. No contesting that. The question is whether he wrote them for him. Wayne's lyrical quality went downhill after Currensy left. Food for thought.

Don't reply back with huge text, I won't read it.

In what way did he influence them, though? Content wise? Maybe Wayne felt the need to be more "lyrical". But not in style or anything like that.

And Curren$y never wrote for Wayne. End of story.

Not content really. C2 days were just an extension of C1 but with better wordplay. What the major influence Currensy had was definitely the style. That is apparent, Currensy clearly influenced Wayne.

Ghost writing is . Maybe maybe not. I think he did but that's just me.

Re: Curren$y Speaks on Writting for Weezy

                  lol. this thread.
and at frank being the special ed.
                  of these here forums.

i dont think currensy wrote waynes raps.
his shit is a lot more detail oriented than waynes.
and even his best rhymes now. dont have the heart.
that waynes rhymes had back then. but style wise.
moreso on the mixtapes than anything.
i think he was an influence. i'd bet that he was.
the one picking beats for them to rap on. and that sound.
definitely shapes style. but beyond that. nahhh. currensy aint write for that man.

its really a played out idea man. this dude wayne has been writing raps since he was eight. its literally all he knows how to do.

                  oh.
and as far as his recent decline.
i think that has to do more with diluting.
his product than not having a ghost writer.
he has a larger audience now.
so hes dumbing down his raps on a major level.
we dont get those concentrated verses anymore.
just some watered down shit so that everybody can listen.

its the same reason why his international features were always wack.
we take it for granted cos we listen to it all day.
but some people out there. really cant understand rap.
so he's simplified the fuck out of his rhymes.
making it easier for more people to understand.
since hes damn near an international pop star.

Nah. I don't think he influenced his rap at all. And of course you think Curren$y wrote for him. It's Wayne!

He'll never win when it comes to you.

I meant like Curren$y didn't really influence his style of rapping. As far as Weezy's drive, maybe.
