Re: Am I the only one who thinks Wayne has IMPROVED lyrically over the years

It's just down to preference, people do make out he is sooo terrible now which does annoy me a bit, but at the end of the day, you like what you like if you do you'll listen, who really cares what anyone else thinks... I prefer old skool Wayne, but it doesn't stop me from loving and listening to pretty much everything he does still... If you are a fan you are a fan, if you ain't then you ain't... Simples.

There you go right there. Can't get any realer than that when it comes to being a true fan.

You're not the only one that thinks that

I don't think he's improved though. He's not terrible either. He's still my favorite no matter what and I'll continue to defend him.

S4TW was the shit though. I think it's on par with some of his older projects. And he had plenty great verses this year that were overlooked.

That doesn't prove anything. Someone can easily find a recent song that the majority of people like better than an older song to disprove your point.

I like both ? So it don't matter which one it's better..

                        But it's like saying
OLD WAYNE (pussy monster) < NEW WAYNE (how to love)

                          But I think lyrically C4 >>>> C1
He used to mumble a bunch of random words that rhymed, I think his lyrical peak was C2/C3 Era but he hasn't got much worse lyrically since then, he just overuses the super-dupa flow now
He still has tons of sick metaphors/similes/punchlines
I think the only thing's worse now are his selection of beats are much weaker than C2/C3 and he uses that superdupa flow way too much

                          Son, I am disappoint...
THIS AIN'T NOTHING TO RELATE TO.
