I don't see them falling off. I think they are alwas gonna have people who leave the label for other reasons. But they won't fall off Cash Money been in business for over a decade longer than any other rapper turned into a record label owner. Bad boy is done, Roc a fella done, Busta rhymes label gone, etc. So I think as long as Birdman is behind the scenes it will last. People wanna say they falling off and what not but at the end of the day still selling, still making money and got some of the hardest working people in the business. POINT. BLANK. PERIOD

Re: Do you ever see YMCMB falling off?

Twist is getting better, slowwwwlly. But he is nowhere near the level where he can be set as an example of success. If JVG wants to show that Torion will gorw like twist then that isnt very good, since, what, Twist has been ridin with YM since late 2007 at least. Thats like 4 and a half years with no albums, and only moderate improvement.

Yes, everything has it's prime. Shady Records was once the most active, biggest, best record label in hip hop. Now while it's still probably one of the best around lyrically in rap and now look at it? It's nowhere near as big or active as it was (G-Unit and Shady Records ran hiphop back in the early 2000's)

So I mean Cash Money will always be a large label but whether it'll be as good, not sure, probably not..nothing lasts forever not to say it won't be killing it for a long, long time though.

Why the hell are people lying and saying Twist sucks? His voice is annoying for a 19 year old, but that's it.

As far as YMCMB falling off, not soon. And not to the depths of past labels. Those labels maybe had a life spam of a few years. And most of the time only one or two artists carried them. Well YMCMB has made it past their one or two artist phase and their run started 6 or so years ago. And they're still going strong with even more popular single acts and a group. And that one act from years ago is still just as relevant despite the haters. No other label has ever done this, and therefore don't compare. YMCMB has legs. Diversity. Past labels didn't have that.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

With Torion you might be right, idk.
Twist is 19. He's like 2 weeks older than me. And after Don't Get It Twisted drops, he'll probably be big.

And Tyga and his Last Kings Label's probably gonna be big. Bow Wow might eventually become huge (he's been rapping almost as long as Wayne). Nicki's pretty mainstream. Drake is gonna last quite some time. Jay Sean and Kevin Rudolf are good.

Short Dawg, Cory Gunz, Jae Millz and Gudda Gudda are probably gonna stay underground (great artists though). DJ Khaled always has people to work with. Busta Rhymes is gonna rap til he fuckin dies.

Cool & Dre and Mike Banger make great beats, so they'll have work for a while.

And then there's all their side projects like Cash Money Content and YMCMBOfficial.Com

And where are those 2 girls from TLC?? T-Boz and that other one...

Even if YMCMB goes belly up for no reason whatsoever, they all got plenty of money to live semi-lavish lives. (might have to sell a few Bugattis...)

YME started 7 years ago. CMR started 21 years ago.
