first as fara s nas and wayne, the yre similar in how they ride their strength of their rapping ability.
they actually rap so well,(when wayne's actually trying) that they can carry any beat and any album.

theyre rapping talent is just pure as fuck.
if you ever hear a lot of rappers unreleased music its fucking terrible.
kanyes unreleased shit is terrible, a lot of htese guys work verryyyy hard to lay a track down.
and make it sound as good as it does when it finally gets to us.

nas and wayne have some of the most pirated music in the game.
and even the unreleased stuff is stupid strong for throwaway material.
they dont have bad takes, they dont have any technical difficulties in their flows, deliveries.
theres no mistakes in the raps or the construction of the raps. they just know what their doing.

early eminem was this way too, you go back and listen to those early albums.
and those beats were mostly terrible but em could rap so well that it didnt matter.

wayne might not be the most technically ambitious (more a matter of consistency than anything, cos he can def be techinical)
of rappers, but hes definitely one of the most talented to ever get raps out.

but for my money. mos is too.

he was a beast on blackstar. aka starter textbook hiphop.
but he was still stupid nice all over it.

black on both sides is absolutely incredible.
song writing, lyrically, musically, its just about everything you want.
Out of an hiphop album. new world water? umi says? mr nigga? that album is special.

the standout cuts from the new danger.
the panties obviously, but if youve ever heard the beggar.
im not sure hiphop has ever had a better vocal talent that mos.

then the ectatic dropped and we saw that htis dude is 35 and is actually getting better.
he's a better rapper, a better musician and a better artist than he was when he came in.

which is really how rap should be its a writers craft, theres no limit to how good you could be.

ap wouldnt be where it is without him, he made the technical foundation.
but that foundation is 20 plus years old now. people have figured out so much more since hten.
wayne has made his own advances in technical skill, and flow wise its no comparison.
you know what youre going to get when rakim jumps on a beat. wayne in his prime was an animal.
thats what he has over everybody imo, ive never heard anyyyyone just jump on a beat the way he does.
and then proceed to ride the fuck out of it for 4 minutes. so rakim is almost definitely the better writer.

but if you were to ask me who could create a more inventive rap in 89 rakim or 07 wayne.
