Disagree with the majority of your points. I do agree that D1 is a better project, but I still can't say D2 is overrated nor can I say that D2 is for "hip hop heads (got damn I hate that word)". Nor can I say No Ceilings or D4 is better than it.
If anything, No Ceilings and D4 are overrated. D4 hasn't been out long and people are already saying it's one of Wayne's best and No Ceilings has a load of flaw, IMO. Most of NC's lyrics are duds, a good bit of dick/pussy lines, Wayne could have cut some features, and I have a gripe with nearly every song. (In DOA Wayne does that cheesy thing with nut brands, in Run This Town Wayne says super too much, Watch My Shoes has great flow and delivery but very corny dick lines).
The D4 download has horrendous audio quality (the Best Buy version is slightly better, but nothing tremendous), WAY too many dick/pussy lines, Wayne doesn't have the best verse on the tape, the majority of the features were lame, the beats were too bland and pop, Wayne wasn't creative enough with transforming his selected beats into his own songs, and the tape doesn't feel like a complete mixtape at all.
I can't think of any flaws in D2 and i'm not saying this because I prefer Wayne before 07. The beats Wayne chose were hot at the time and fitted Wayne perfectly. Wayne's lyricism was completely on point and I didn't mind any of the features. The tape is cohesive, memorable, feels complete, and is considered classic by Wayne haters for a damn good reason. IMO, most of No Ceilings is forgettable after a few listens and D4 didn't do anything for me.
But, I understand where you come from. Your opinion is as valid as mine and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who is right or wrong.
Best Wayne mixtape ever bro. It has more flow and lyricism than Drought 3 and is just plain dope. Even wayne haters admit that that mixtape is legendary. Its regarded as one of the best of all time.

The Wayne I got into was the 07-08 witty and raw rapping Wayne. That's why I hate D4 for example, it's just nothing like what I used to love about Weezy.
But opinions are opinions..
