  • Rap Game Once Wayne Retires

What do you think will change about it? Mixtape, sales, activity, etc. And would it affect you that you wouldn't see him all over the place or featured on lots of songs?

It wouldn't hit me THAT much, I mean I still got this nigga all in my iPhone and shit..but it'd feel weird. I fucks with niggas out there like Kendrick, ASAP Rocky, Drake, etc. but it just won't be the same without Wayne in there even if he just put shit out like once every 4 months idc. So what yall think?

This PROLLY been made before but iight.. lol

When he retires in a couple of years from now I don't think he'll be very relevant anymore. Just look at him right now and put it up against his fame back in 2008. He is a legend for what he did thru his carreer but it wouldn't do any harm to the game right now if he left. He had is run.
Then again I can't really speak for the rest of this forum who think D4 was dope and put 2012 over 2011. Since I hardly listen to any of his new music I would love to see him end his thing and just swim around in money for the rest of his life, doing what he wants.

Personally, I wouldn't follow hip-hop as much as I do now.

So he will be still making music when he retires? sounds pretty good to me.

I'ma have to change my ways totally! It won't be the same without Wayne for me! I'm the type of person who is a legit stan of one artist and then just listens to small bits of other stuff but it's really all about that one artist! For me it used to be Eminem all day every day until he stopped making music and I needed someone new to be a crazy fan of and Wayne was on top at the time and it's been all about Weezy since then! That's me personally but as far as the rap game, it won't be hugely affected imo! There will always be someone to replace him! When he retires it just leaves an empty space for someone new to fill! He will be remembered as a legend and one of the greats tho!

obviously i dont know it. it wouldnt change anything in germany. they dont even show him on tv, radio or stuff like dat, his music is not popular here, cause he was in jail, and he smoked weed and so on. so some german bitches decided to never show sth of lil wayne.
but for me, the rap game would find its true end.

                  ayyyyeee keep it real.

Really bruh? Wayne's name will always be popular, just cause some may think he's "bad" now doesn't mean his popularity dropped. But it's what you think so yea.

Rap will still be the same, people have retired and died and hiphop is still alive. Me personally will probably be less into it, Ill still follow a few guys but it wont be the same without Wayne. He really is underrated for his work ethic alone. This guy has put more work and dedication into rap than many people do into their careers. Hes a true inspiration and I hope he retires when he feels he wants to, while its easy for us to say "(kevin hart female impression voice) Nuuuuuu, you cant retire, we need you" he is an individual, with a lot of drive. I hope he continues to do whatever it is that makes him happy, skating or rapping, or collecting exotic animals and opening an exotic petting zoo. Whatever he feels like doing, I hope he does.

                        And we still have Kendrick
