Propably most rappers I know off. They can't touch Wayne as an artist combined tho (work ethic, personality, wordplays etc)

I've never seen Wayne as the best rapper alive, that's just crazy, but then again I love his cockiness.
Take it out the wrapper, sit it on the stove
Break a gram off and put it in my bitch nose
She tells me how it feels, she's numb, she's froze
Bitch! wake up and help me cook these o's
I gotta get my cake up see all I eat is dough
I'm a dangerous mothafucka watch your feets, your toes

There was a time he had me believe that he was, and I thought he was. I mean it's really not possible to be the best cause I'm sure there's gonna be niggas disagreeing with no matter who is said to be the best, so there's never a clear choice. But Wayne is, or was, a candidate for the spot, definitely to me at least.

But like you said, no artist touched him as a rapper overall with wordplay, flow, wit, cockiness, personality, work ethic, etc.

Honestly? As far as clever wordplay and all that shit? Nobody.

But if I'm just thinkin' of people in his league, that could hold they own on a track with a serious Weezy...

            Drake
            Jay
            Em
Andre(maybe, I'm honestly not at all convinced, because he got bodied on Hollywood Divorce and didn't really outrap Tune on Sleazy)

No one else comes to mind.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

LOL! Nigga, Sixteen > Lil Wayne's life. I'm jus' sayin'. Andre's Sixteen verse, bruh. Wayne never went off on a track for that long, non-stop. And spit real shit though.

Wayne and Eminem are both had tremendously high peaks but stayed relevant afterwards. I would still say Wayne's peak was higher than Eminem's was. Wayne was just doing so much music and so much of it was great from 06-09. I would say about 70% of everything made then from Tha Carter 2 to No Ceilings is better than the songs we get today. Also we don't even know or can guess at how much music from that time we haven't heard. So now for the list of Peaks: 1. Wayne 2. Eminem 3. Tupac (Post Death) 4. Jay-z 5. 50 cent 6. Kanye

lol ive held up wayne as the best rapper ive ever heard for a long time.

lol dude seriously has a gift for it, its almost something intangible to it. like yeah, eminem might have so many lyrics,

and so on and so forth, but wayne just has way in the music, that i hadnt heard from anybody else.

lol until i heard zeroh. this dude is like blessed.

lol its really really hard to pick one song from this dude, cos hes so crazy versatile.
but he's probably the best rapper ive ever heard, i havent heard writing and rapping so strong in one person ever.

its like mf doom technical ability, wayne energy and liveness, jay electronica content, but like applied to everyday life,
at incredible pace and precision, w like mos def melodies, and madlib experimentation.

lol idk this dude is somewhere else w it.

he hasnt hit the peaks that wayne has hit tho, but off pure ability, i think he could hang with anyone.
