I didn't know anything about him 'till 2009. At that time, my sister played me "Prom Queen", and I liked the video very much and song was cool too.. Couple weeks after, I wanted to see if he has some other, better songs.. I listened to all from VEVO, got C3, and I bumped about 100 songs all day.. Then, I got C4.. Got hooked.. listened to every single album and that's it xD
Been bumping Wayne for 3-4 years now..
@JSPR I listened to G'n'R and other rock gods too, before I discovered Wayne ^_^

Especially when you're a non native English speaker, there is so much more to 'discover' in rap songs. That's why I started listening to Wayne, and to rap in general.
That's just my opinion tho

Was not that deep into Rap music and was watching "Jump Start" by VH1 one morning back in 2009 and saw "I Can Transform Ya" with him and Chris Brown and just thought his style and voice was unique. I actually discovered my love for his music with his Rebirth album, and went back from there. Now to this day, he's probably my biggest idol.........................

Stuntin Like My Daddy and Workin Em. My Aunt made me a mix CD back whenever those songs came out (so 06 I think), I was like 12 or 13 at the time (I'm 20 now but I'm bad at math and can't subtract and figure out years for shit).
Those were (and still are) my shit though, had those on repeat all the time, even though I had no idea who he was at the time.
Technically I heard Back that azz up since it was on the radio all time back in the day, but I don't count that.BluntWraps.

First song I heard was either soldier or fireman back in 2005. Then Go DJ and get your shine on in 05 as well because of midnight club... heard him on we takin' over & make it rain in 06....and fucked with him hard on sky is the limit on dd3...but didn't fully label him my favorite rapper until I heard 3Peat...
