        I don't follow Jay-Z's sales.

How many first album copies does he normally sell ?

I'm guessing it ain't higher than what Lil Wayne sells with his Tha Carter albums, because that's only Eminem in hip-hop who can do that.

and it will probably be a better album considering it will include all of his best songs from his career

Jay gonna take the L. According to that.

              Equal lyrics.

              Jay will have better content.

Jay z does better numbers than Wayne in general tbh...

I mean other than C3 and C4, Wayne's albums hit around 250k first week, if not less..

I'm guessing you mean Tha Carter V? Probably in 2-3 years.

He said he's retiring at 35, since Carter V is his last album probably when he's 35, so 2018?

He said that in 2011 though .. since then he has said "I said I might retire, You know I'll be high"

Nobody knows when he's going to retire and I don't think even Wayne knows either.

Yeah but he wasn't blown up for C1 and C2, and IANAHB is not a popular series. You don't think that Wayne would destroy with C5? The hype would be huge for these reasons:

                          - It's a Carter album
                          - It's supposedly his last album before retirement (he's never retired before)
                          - Haters gotta go on iTunes to go get him
                          - Everyone (even people that aren't fans no more) will wanna get it to either support him or in high hopes he went off on his final album

It depends on what he does from now til releasee date tho. The singles will be important too. Also, yall don't think Universal/Tez will make bad song selections? That's what I'm worried about. Other than that I feel Wayne knows he gotta go off on C5.
