MJ: some great hits, two great albums, but a lot of repetitiveness in his vocal range and substance. He's still top 50.

And then put Kanye number 10 after saying that...
5 classic albums, 808s included, self-produced music, musical range (that actually works, unlike Rock Wayne), one of the most introspective musicians, a game changer etc.
Not only that, but Wayne started off as an average rapper, and he's hurt his career massively in the past 3-4 years.Last edited by WeezYIsCraaazY; 06-01-2013, 07:24 PM.

Can't be bothered to do a big list; I'll just name my top 10.
1. The Beatles
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Louis Armstrong
4. Bob Marley
5. Elvis
6. Chuck Berry
7. Public Enemy
8. Buddy Holly
9. The Beach Boys
10. Kanye West
Edit: Top 1000? You buggin, its at LEAST top 500 or less.

2) What 5 classic albums? 808s wasn't classic, it was real nice and good, but not classic. And musical range? Didn't you hear one of his recent songs that sounded like Wayne's "Hello" off IANAHB2? Kanye's sounded like a bad attempt at rock, so there goes that musical range.
Kanye's pushed boundaries of rap, but not to the extent that Wayne has. You can't even tell me right now that Kanye was more successful outside of rap than Wayne. Wayne on autotune is actually more appealing and his flow is more diverse, and not only that, but Wayne's been the "go to" guy for hooks back then as well, and still is for the most part. Lollipop alone, while many would dislike it, was (one of) the biggest crossover into a different genre and Kanye just cannot top that.
Lol Wayne started off as an average rapper? Okay but so did Ye? And not only that you do realize Wayne was a young ass motherfucker. Nigga had to be like 10 when he first started in 92. Even in 99 when he was more known the nigga was only 17.
And I feel Wayne changed the game more than Kanye.
