this, NWTS, etc. but D5 has biggest replay value especially shit like Typa Way, Pure Colombia, etc.
I think some tracks have replay value, but as a whole it doesnt have much replay value to me. I feel like once the hype went away and I listened to the mixtape for what it was. It wasn't that big a deal, it was just a wayne mixtape. Maybe its because I listen to a lot of other artist and this mixtape just doesn't hold that much weight to me.

edit: the same thing happened with INAHB II and Carter IV.

D5 >> IANAHB2 and C4 (for the most part imo)

I could find myself going thru whole tape easily for some reason. I could find myself skipping tracks such as New Slaves, Ain't Worried, Before Tune Gets Back, and Way I'm Ballin (after Wayne's verse). Way I'm Ballin isnt too favorable imo, the beat is too basic but I do like Tune's verse, especially the ending.

Other than those songs, the whole tape is replayable too. And yes, you're not the only one that bumps other artists. I bumped Acid Rap yesterday, listened to NWTS, and just finished bumping all of DC3 recently again. After hearing DC3 I've learned to appreciate the high amount of replay value D5 has compared to that. I cannot go thru that tape from front to back ever again honestly.

D5 is listenable front to back if I skip those tracks I listed above. Shit, even the skits on here are enjoyable, especially the New Signees and Fortune Teller ones.

Could just be you but I feel down the line it'll sink into you much more. Its an enjoyable mixtape imo and easily best body of work from him since No Ceilings hands down.

The thing that amazes me the most is how diverse he sounds. Compare the energy/delivery and flow and overall feel from Levels compared to Live Life. That's crazy how he could just adjust and change his sound, flow, everything just like that. Still shocks me til this day.

I see what you are saying. I will give it another listen and see if the same still holds true.

I see what your trying to say, but for me no way D5 out shines both those albums. C4 was great, and loaded with killer tracks ex: 6'7, How To Love, She Will, Mirror, Nightmares Of The Bottom, and more... IANAHB2 had some dope songs as well, Curtains, Back To You, No Worries, Trippy, etc... D5 is amazing, don't get me wrong. But to me it doesn't over shadow both those albums put together.

                    yeah

and again if it doesnt work for you this time

give it maybe like 2 weeks/1 month of no listens and see how that goes

its just the lyrics, how it sounds, flows, delivery, etc. that makes it enjoyable

                    C4 overall was dope tbh

shouldnt really compare mixtapes to albums but given the circumstances D5 was under and the fact that its not an album i'd have to say D5 > C4 > IANAHB2 in that order

i do enjoy the first half of IANAHB2 however and a chunk of C4

But did you not hear his voice in the beginning, how it was soft and really low?
