Holy shit. And I listened to Itchin' again. And even with that being one of the worst tracks on D5, it's still a good 7 out of 10. Slightly above average. Even for the weak motif being reinforced (Lines about debauchery), he does it scholarly. "This is The Dedication 5. And anything else is just a constellation prize." The lines on this tape, fam. Some of them "DO" murk a lot of "No Ceilings" lines. Fuck Future for ruining "Way I'm Ballin'" though.

Lyrically D5 and D4 are better than NC if you ask me. The charisma he had NC though had me hanging on ever damn line, and makes them seem a lot better.

thoughts: First ½ was quite rubbish lmao ½ half is spectacular. d5 is like a concoction of sftw and d4, it has the voice from sftw but the lyrics from d4, and more songs than both made up together. I still like d4 better but now I understand why you can like this more
