Carter II has only a couple of bad tracks; the rest of them are great songs.
Carter III is close to not being great if you ask me; some of the songs are mind blowing, but half of the album (Got Money, Comfortable, Phone Home, Mrs. Officer, Lollipop, La La) is average at best.

Wayne is great on his older albums, but there's not enough variety in them and they've dated pretty poorly.

This is true, i feel like i could put on a a few Kanye tracks and they would still not sound dated (Good life and stronger), but if i put on Wayne's Got Money and Lollipop they just sound abit meh in terms of subject matter

Sure, it's not a conventional one, but it's a rock album nonetheless.

Even if you class it as a rap album or simply 'music', it's very bad music.

Conventional, simple beats, generic, corny lyrics ("I loved her fancy underwear. I sat behind her every year")

You're seriously telling me if anyone but Wayne put that album out you'd call it dope?
I feel like this is always the case when it comes to a rebirth discussion, i personally think its an "okay" project, there are definately songs i still like (Runnin, Paradice and im so over you), but the CORNY songs like Knockout and Prom Queen made the album look so childish.
If someone else released a Rebirth they definately would gain a level of popularity and buzz, but it would only reach a Chief Keef Level of popularity

Lyrically, stylistically, everything about that album was awful.

                Kanye created a chutzpah masterpiece.

To be honest, in post-modern criticism, Kanye is always gonna win: he is the auteur, the man who makes his music.

Wayne raps over a beat someone else made...
                Lyrically tho?

I think Rebirth is the only Wayne album were he got meanings and shit on it lol

On a select few songs I agree, but most of it seems like Wayne trying to fit his music around what he understands to be rock.

The only way that album is great is if Wayne is being satirical about modern-day rock music.

You do realise Rebirth is not an experimental album? It's a rapper making a pop rock album.

In terms of music (not rap):
                          MBDTF > Wayne's entire discography.
