If Wayne dropped C5 within the next two years, he would still push close to 1 million first week.
I didn't say he's not relevant I said 'surely you can see what your friend ment' as in he had a good point to make. Wayne will ALWAYS be relevant in the sense that he is a modern day hip hop legend. But said friend has a very good point.

Wayne has one of if not THE biggest cult following of fans EVER. He will always sell well because of this. But the world of hip hop is wider than us Weezy fans, and the rest of the world is not as fixated on him as much as we are... You see my point bro?

Holy shit time does fly. I was a freshman and I overplayed this shit within a month. I overplayed it so much I hated listening to it anywhere else it just got so annoying.
When it came out , at first, I thought post jail Wayne was going to be legendary and better than ever. Guess not lol

But yeah like I was saying time flies. Thats 3 years and add another one and there goes a bachelors degree

and i have no idea why they don't sell well, maybe cause he didn't promote them, have no idea at all.

Its IMO because the carter series has become a known brand - it has stood the test of time (people bumping C2 etc) and so people look forward to the next edition. The other albums (IANAHB etc) are not known brands to the more mainstream type fans.

BUT if people really like the carter albums, why don't they check out the other albums? if they became fan they had to, or am I wrong

I remember playing this song on repeat for days! It made me so hyped for the album, some people don't like this song, but I love it, it's catchy, got good lyrics and overall it's Weezy.

Rebirth, IANAHB, IANAHB II, WAYM, isn't close in quality to the Carter series.

And the Carter series is so big and become so legendary i feel that Wayne takes them more serious then other albums.

Also i think LFLS didn't sell so much because of Birdman.

You're right but people are ignorant and decide not to. I know people who bump C1 to C4 but haven't heard of IANAHB series.

LFLS was dope AF in my opinions, and Birdman was actually dope in it. @Team Brrrrr!!!
I like all the albums, one thing I ask myself tho is any of the other albums better than any of Tha Carter albums. As in is the best non-Carter series album better than the least favorite Carter series album.

Well we already know that the IAHB series is basically all throwaway from Tha Carter Series.
And LFLS didn't do well because it was a street album, all of the singles were hard-hitting street singles that wouldn't appeal to the mainstream, which is why LFLS is very highly regarded among hip-hop fans.

Tha Carter series should go down as the best hip-hop trilogy of all time.
