He said he gonna retire at 35... That's still a long time away. Anything can happen in that time.

I think when Wayne "retires" that means we will start getting the same amount of music we get from Jay z or Eminem or Kanye each year...

like for example Em released that album with Royce 5'9 in 2011 and no body heard anything from him till the end of 2013....

wayne has to be in the right mood to record rock-ish songs

when he was recording rebirth thats when you seen footage of him playing the guitar and dressing up in rock clothes

he even had a different look with his hair and piercings
to an extent, I can see what your saying... but still, how often does Wayne change his style though, think about it. he talked about in a interview that he approaches all albums/mixtape's differently... wouldn't be that hard for him to channel his inner rockstar for another rock album.

let's hope that's not the case...

If he decided to switch up his rap style a little, a little less punchlines, and rap about more personal stuff he could rap for another 10 years and still be relevant.

Wayne's retirement will basically be a break from the industry.. I can see him coming back to do features or work with the label he owns. Wayne may stop releasing projects but he will never leave hip-hop.

Yeah, also he should start releasing his unreleased songs then. And i'd be happy to buy a CD with songs that are on C3 Sessions, cause they're so good, timeless maybe

He signed a 4 album deal, and then released IANAHB2 a year later. So he has 3 albums left on the contract.
