  • This is such a mess...not the thread but this whole situation. Why doesn't someone (Mack, Tez, even Birdman) say something?

    • Birdman pushed back C5 because he knew it would flop, it's all about timing.

this isn't the lil wayne, jeezy, ti, etc generation anymore. it's the young thug, migos, chief keef, rae sremmurd, etc generation now.

wayne's not "hot" anymore bcuz he's an og in the game. notice how these new rappers talk about him. he's not their competition. they're not tryna beat him they're tryna be him if you get what i'm saying. he's one of the ones they're looking up to.

he's 32 lol, weezy's old, this just isnt his generation anymore. has nothing to do with talent

                  • I agree with that post, but 32 years old isnt "old" lol.

Weezy is still young, and can still put out a 10/10 album, but he's got to get the right management behind it.

Like you said, it's a newer generation. Younger hip/hop fans will never give Wayne the respect and credit he deserves, but to us, he can still make hit records.

Well isn't his company in charge of promo? Where the fuck was it, LWHQ could of came up with a better promo plan then them but Birdman doesn't care about flopping, look at Rich Gang and YM Empire sales

it's not that he's OLD , who's old at 32? I don't know how old are you , but seeing the 30's as an old age can happen on sports. Eminem made it big 12 years ago...well he was 30-32. Kanye was 33 when his masterpiece my Beautiful Dark Twisted fantasy hit the stores.
But Wayne is 20 years in the game...in this precsription he's old...He's a veteran , although many of them haters can't understand this.
Nevermind , i'm just stating , age is a number , 2 Chainz ressurected his career when he was 35 for example
